The Fishing Guide

Robert Petty has been fishing the Sacramento River for 25+ years with an unrivaled passion for learning new techniques and fishing spots. His years of experience have allowed him to have great success fishing for numerous species of fish.

After years of keeping a “don’t ask, don’t tell” fishing policy, he realized that no matter where his day job was, it was never going to be better than a view from the boat with a fish tugging on his line. And, with the world being made of 70% water, the possibilities were endless.

Having fished the Sacramento River since he was a young boy, he couldn’t imagine guiding anywhere else. He is qualified to operate as a guide with his years of experience, USCG Captains license and CA Fishing Guide license, as well as being certified in CPR and First Aid.
